The Confucius Academy of Honam University was officially opened on December 19, 2006 with the approval and joint support of Hanfan, the Ministry of Education of China, and cooperation with Honam University. To provide high quality Chinese education and Chinese culture in Gwangju and surrounding areas, 100% Chinese language education is conducted by native speakers of this language.
